Frobidden pond in Harrachov
You won't find this place in any brochure or tourist guide, it is only well known to locals. It is forbidden to swim here, because pond seves it's purpose to local glass makers.
They first empty all water out, then they put beech blocks in and wire them down to ground. Then they fill the pond back up and have it sit in there for couple of monts. Wooden blocks are sucking up water and wood is becoming moist. Wooden blocks are them pulled out and cut into pieces and carved up to become mold for glass products.
You can spot them then in the Harrachov Glassworks or in Brewery restaurant.
