Modern architecture at the top of the mountain
Since people remember, there has always been a building at the place of today's Labska bouda. At first it was more of a cottage with couple of animals. Cheese products were made here and were available for purchase. In 1904 the Natural reservation was established here and this place was very well liked among people.
In 1975, today's building was open. Many people say it does not belong here, it should be smaller and made wihoud that much of concrete. It has many nicknames, most used one is "The Concrete Monster". Nowadays it only serves as a restarant or bufet. None of the rooms are open to public. For it's perfect destination it is one of the better spots to visit from Harrachov.
