Krakonos is coming to Harrachov - March 14, 2015
With the upcoming spring we are going to welcome the folklore mountain spirit Krakonos, who is the Lord of the highest mountains in the Czech republic.
It sounds incredible, but on Saturday, March 14, 2015 after 69th times, mythical ruler of the Giant Mountains - Krakonoš will come to Harrachov. Folk celebration full of a variety of masks, majorettes and visitors, led by a brass band will accompany the arrival of Krakonos who will pass through Harrachov. The center of the event will based at the space behind the pension Tesla, right in the ski resort of Harrachov. The best mask competition will be announced here, as well as the auction of scout Easter whip, musical bands performances and fencing-fire show. In addition, throughout the event there will be a variety of market stalls, including refreshments. And a lot of fun! This traditional event is repeatedly accompanied by beautiful spring weather and we hope that this year will be no exception. Not only this is worth a visit to Harrachov in arrival time of the Lord of Giant mountains.
