Miniature Park in Kowary
Get to know the attractions of the Polish Krkonose Mountains from the perspective of a giant - in the Miniature Park!
On the Polish side of the Krkonose Mountains in the picturesque town of Kowary, is the Lower Silesia’s Park of Miniatures, it has been there since 2003. While exploring the park, you can see the models of castles, chateaus, monasteries or town halls reduced in 1:25. Sněžka (1603 m nm) is 50 times smaller than the original. Miniatures are made with the latest modeling techniques that resist adverse weather conditions. You can hear the music of Johann Sebastian Bach from the Kresov Basilica. There is a model of Książ Castle which is a miniature of the largest one-hundred-meter-long Lower Silesian castle. Floral decorations and wicker sculptures create a fabulous atmosphere. You can also see some models
of Czech monuments such as Vrchlabí, Jilemnice and Frýdlant castles.
Right next to the Miniature Park is a large amusement park. It is a complex of unique inflatable attractions. In addition to castles, chateaus, and fairy-tale animals, children can enjoy hand-driven boats in the pool.
The Lower Silesian Miniature Park is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 (in the winter months until 17:00).
