Get to know the skiing history at the Ski Museum in Harrachov!
You can visit the history of skiing and ski jumping at the Ski Museum near the Harrachov Bus Station, which was opened in September 2017. It was built by Slavik brothers and it offers over 8000 exhibits.
The Ski Museum offers an amazing cross-section of history, from the beginning of skiing in the Krkonoše Mountains in the 19th century to the present top ski jumping. Winter sports enthusiasts will really enjoy it. Visitors will be able to see not only the successes of ski jumping legends, but also the original production of skis and rarities, such as Copies of World Champions Cups, 130 years old, waxes of the interwar period or skis that crossed the slopes of the French city of Chamonix during the first Winter Olympics 1924. In short, there is Czech and world skiing history under one roof, which is definitely worth visiting.
